Exuma Excursions

Swimming with the pigs

This is one excursions experience you simply can’t miss while you’re here in Exuma, Bahamas. Wondering how the pigs got to Pig Beach? We don’t know for sure. Big Major Cay is uninhabited and the pigs are not native to the island. Some say they were left by a group of sailors, who planned to come back and cook them. Or that the pigs swam over from a shipwreck nearby. Wherever they came from, there are now about 20 pigs and piglets living the easy life, with daily visits from Bahamians and tourists.

Exuma Excursions

Swimming with the sharks

Visit the docile nurse sharks at Compass Cäy in Exuma during your excursions. Dip into the water to swim alongside them, or pet their skin when they swim up to the dock during high tide.

Visit with the Iguanas

FEED BAHAMIAN ROCK IGUANAS.
An endangered and protected species, these colorful and friendly creatures can live up to 40 years.

Thunderball Grotto | Exuma Excursions

This fantastic underwater cave was used in the filming of two James Bond movies and is a must-see for divers and snorkelers.

Visit with the Turtles | Exuma Excursions

At Little Farmers Cay is where you will swim and be able to pet wild sea turtles. The turtles come into the bay because of the locals that clean conch in the water and have become so accustom to the locals feeding them conch that now they let most people pet them.
